Postage & Returns

RETURN POLICY

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with any of our products, it must be returned, AT THE BUYER'S EXPENSE, within 14 calendar days of receiving the item. It is highly recommended that a tracked method of delivery with signature upon receipt (e.g. Special Delivery) is used for returns, as we cannot be held responsible for any items lost in the post. We do not accept liability for missing return parcels.

The item must be in its original packaging, untampered with and UNUSED, in the same condition that it was sent to you. VERY IMPORTANT: THE LACE MUST NOT HAVE BEEN CUT. Before cutting the lace on a wig, please make sure that it fits and that you are happy with it, as we will not accept any returns of wigs on which the lace has been cut.

If returning adhesive, solvent or similar products, the product MUST NOT HAVE BEEN OPENED OR USED.

If you fail to adhere to these conditions, your return will be refused.

A refund will be issued upon receipt of the item IN RESELLABLE CONDITION. Postage charges will not be refunded.

If your purchase was paid for by PayPal, due to changes to PayPal's refund policy, PayPal will not be refunding the fees paid on transactions. Therefore this fee will be deducted from your refund.

If your order qualified for free delivery, the amount it actually cost to post the order to you will still be deducted from your refund.

Please allow 7 working days to process your refund upon receipt of the item.


You may also exchange your item for another one, provided it has not been used or altered in any way. If you wish to exchange an in-stock item, no restocking fee will be charged, but we will require you to pay the price difference between both items (if any) plus an additional postage fee to send the exchange item to you.

Custom-made wigs cannot be returned or exchanged. In very rare instances, we will make an exception; however, such returns/exchanges are subject to 15% restocking fee.

SALE ITEMS/USED ITEMS

Sales on all Sale Items and Used/Refurbished items (i.e. items in the "Refurbished Wigs" and "Sale Items" sections) are final. Sale and refurbished/used items cannot be returned, nor exchanged. Their condition is always described and depicted accurately, and they are sold as seen.

UK

Orders within the UK are sent via Royal Mail (standard delivery) or DHL (next day delivery).
We do not send any orders out on Saturdays, Sundays or UK bank holidays. If you order on a Friday after 2pm, your order will be despatched on the following Monday.

The UK postage deadlines FOR WIGS are as follows:

IN STOCK WIG orders placed on Monday to Thursday:
Order received before 3.00 pm – will usually be delivered the next working day

IN STOCK WIG orders placed on Fridays:
Order received before 3.00 pm - your wig will be delivered the following Monday. If ordered after 3pm, your wig will be posted on Monday with next day delivery (Tuesday).

IN STOCK WIG orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays:
Posted on Monday with next day delivery (Tuesday).

Please note that these postage guidelines apply only if cleared payment has been received in full, and if your address is confirmed (if paying via PayPal). These postage deadlines exclude weekends or bank holidays.

UK postage deadlines for other items:
Orders paid before 2pm with standard delivery are delivered within 5 working days.

Please note: next day delivery does not include Saturdays.

UK Next Day Delivery orders need to be paid before 3pm. Orders paid after the cut-off time will not be despatched on the same day.

Europe and International

International orders are usually sent with DHL. Delivery within Europe usually takes between 2 and 5 working days, and to other parts of the world around 1 week, but no guaranteed delivery time can be given. Recipient must be available to sign for the package.

We cannot ship to PO boxes.

Bargainlacewigs.co.uk cannot be held responsible for any import duties that the recipient may have to pay. It is the buyer's responsibility to inform themselves about their country's regulations. Please note that if you live in the European Union, you will now have to pay import duties, since the United Kingdom is no longer part of the European Union.

PLEASE NOTE:

We send all items by registered post, and a signature will be required. If you are not available to sign for your package, it will usually be returned to your local sorting office. If you do not pick up your package from there, it will be returned to us. If this happens, we will require you to pay an additional postage charge before we send the items to you again. No exceptions will be made.

Please make sure your delivery address is correct and complete BEFORE paying - both in the shopping basket and in PayPal (if using PayPal). We cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by an incomplete/incorrect delivery address. If the package is returned to us for this reason, we will require you to pay an additional postage charge before we send the items to you again. No exceptions will be made.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR EUROPEAN CUSTOMERS - DELIVERY WITH DHL:

Delivery of wigs is usually with DHL, with the option of additional insurance. DHL have an excellent track record and packages are very rarely lost or damaged. However, please note that if you choose not to add insurance (standard delivery), DHL will pay NO compensation in the event that your package is lost or damaged in transit. We will therefore not reimburse you if this happens. 

DISCREET PACKAGING

Please note: we never use the words "lace wig/lace wigs" nor do we make any other reference to hair replacement on any of our packaging, so please be assured that your order will be packaged discreetly - we know that most of our customers prefer it this way.

However, when sending to countries outside of the European Union, we are required by law to provide information about the contents of the package on the customs documentation.
